This plant has quite woody stems and thick leaves. It is often pinkish in colour and has an ability to withstand salty soils. It has Green or white flowers and these along with the fruit are found at the base of the leaves from November to March.
Salt flats and Salt marshes.
A producer using the sun's energy for photosynthesis.
Research has show that the more salty the environment the more water this plant stores.
