Identification:

This crab has an angular shape which narrows towards the head. It has a three lobed spine which does not protrude past the eyes. It varies in colour from yellow, green and orange to black. The legs may be banded

Habitat:

Algal beds and rocky shores.

Introduced to Tasmania from NZ.
