A brown sac-like alga, hollow but with quite fleshy walls. The walls are wrinkled ind folded to increased surface area for photosynthesis. It is gold to dark brown in colour and can have a slimy. jelly like texture.
Found in the low tide in spring and summer.
A producer using the sun for photosythesis.
