A small flat crab, with long thin legs and cryptic colouration (blends in to the background). 10mm carapace (back) width.


Found buried in mud at all tide levels and in shallow water. Does not construct permanent burrows. Adults roam when covered by the tide. It can adapt to a wide variety of salinities (Euryhaline).


Feeds on algae, seagrass and polychaetes
